Icosauna
The most geometric sauna in the world.
Pack it.
Drive somewhere beautiful.
Build an icosahedron.
Get naked.

A proper sauna that travels
Somewhere between a tent, a Platonic solid and an excellent sauna.
Icosauna packs small enough for a campervan or suitable car, assembles in about 15 minutes and turns a good campsite into a very good campsite.
The structure is a rigid icosahedron made from 25 wooden rods and 11 ASA hubs. In the centre hangs the flying dodecahedron: a stone heater carrying approximately 50 kg / 110 lb of sauna stones.

Built for löyly
Hot stones. Hot steam. Cool structure.
The suspended mass of hot stones produces dense, humid löyly. Steam rises into the upper part of the sauna and condensation runs across the clear cover. It gets wonderfully foggy in there.
It is not a dry little camping tent pretending to be a sauna. It likes water. A lot of it.

The flying dodecahedron
Of course an icosahedral sauna needed a dodecahedral heater.
The flat-packed heater hangs from a chain in the centre of the structure and holds approximately 50 kg / 110 lb of sauna stones.
We recommend an 8 kW gas burner to preheat the stones from below: approximately 45 minutes in mild weather or around 60 minutes in cold weather.

Seriously strong geometry
25 pieces of wood. Triangles all the way down.
An icosahedron is triangulated in every direction, making the frame remarkably rigid despite being lightweight and demountable.
The structure is strong enough for four grown men to hang from it at the same time. We know because that's the kind of product testing we believe in.
No floppy cube. No tent poles pretending to be architecture.

No guy lines. No ground anchors.
Freestanding means freestanding.
Approximately 50 kg / 110 lb of sauna stones hang low in the centre of the triangulated frame. No stakes to hammer into frozen ground. No ropes to trip over.
In a tornado, we recommend postponing the sauna.
Tested by actual humans
“I thought it was a bit absurd at first, but it’s honestly a beautiful piece of kit. It's stupid strong. It packs down well, sets up fast, and the steam is excellent.”
FAQ
Things sensible people ask before buying a geometric sauna.
For people who don't need another camping gadget
Build an icosahedron next to your campervan and take a sauna inside it.
This is the logical next step.
